Blasting technology is perhaps the most efficient way to remove persistent dirt from surfaces and/or machines. Until last decade, this was mainly done with grit. But in recent years, alternatives such as dry ice blasting have begun to conquer the market more and more.
Removing persistent dirt from surfaces and/or machines is often not an easy task. For example, rust, glue residue, paints, gum, ink, etc.
This cleaning method offers a number of additional benefits that little or no other cleaning technique has. To clarify, conventional high-pressure cleaning methods currently mostly use water, which results in an enormous amount of waste residue. Dry ice blasting involves cleaning with solid, frozen carbon dioxide grains — so-called pellets — which immediately convert into carbon dioxide after blasting. There is little to no residue here.
